Inside of you…

I found this song that I used to listen to ages ago, and as I pondered upon it, I thought of how true the words are. So many lies are thrown at us “you can’t do this or that”, but we were made to shine! May God help us to be the people He made us to be. Amen!

My Light

Even when the steps ahead are blurred

The road is dark and my torch flickering

Crucified Man

This amazing song by Graham Kendrick summarizes very well the events of Good Friday and our place in it. ❤

My favourite part of the song is:

All Glory to Him

 

Reading this passage gave me an absolute confidence in the God that we serve. No matter what the situation is, we can be rest assured that all things are from Him, through Him and for Him, so if not anything else, for the sake of the glory of His name, He will guide us and supply all our needs. Above all, since we are His children, His love for us is deeper than the sea and higher than the sky above. 🙂

 

Be Thou my vision

living water

we search for wells to satisfy us

only to find ourselves thirst again

run to the shower in our bathtub

when we can be cleansed in His rain

look for peace in the tiny streams the world offers

when His everlasting water fall is sufficient to heal our pain

 

should the people of God run away

do we not often neglect why we are here?

when we decide to take charge of our minds

forgetting that i was crucified with Christ 

and this life i now live is no longer mine

 

let us hold fast to His grace so we can shine

like the sun in the day and the stars at night

that our cups may overflow and flood all around

let the cross never depart from before our eyes

that the world may see we are the temple of the Holy One!
