Romans.4:19-22 – Abraham’s faith

Yesterday I had an awesome time with my Bible mentor and thought I would share what I learnt…

“19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.””- Romans.4:14-22

Faith in God is just trusting and believing that He is going to do what He said. Abraham all that he did was believe what God said to him, despite of his failing body and his wife’s womb, he chose to see what God has shown him, not what he can see with his naked eyes. God is always faithful, but he wants us to have faith in His faithfulness.

Actually with God there is no day and night, or yesterday and tomorrow, because time doesn’t limit Him, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” Amen!
